Meet Cori (short for Coriander) the Cookaburra. At Cookaburras Cooking School, we love to teach little people…and big people, how much fun it is to learn to cook. Food is life. Sharing food you have created with friends and family is one of life’s pleasures. At Cookaburras, we hope to instill a lifelong love of food and cooking in our young chefs.
Children love to explore the sensory experience that preparing food provides and are so proud when they can taste their own creations. Cooking also helps to develop fine motor skills. Good technique is the key to successful cookery. During their Cookaburras class, in addition to having fun, children will be taught the same professional techniques used by chefs in the industry.

Cookaburras at home parties offer a unique experience for kids of all ages, and adults. Recipes are tailored to suit age groups and dietary requirements. Cookaburras also offer packages for school incursions or group bookings.

Mark is a qualified chef, father of two girls and is passionate about cooking. Mark is traditionally trained in fine dining but he learned the love of food and cooking from his Grandmother. Mark is now experiencing the joy of being able to pass her family recipes on to his own daughters. Mark is inspired by cuisines from all over the world with a focus on fresh, home made foods. Mark wants to share this culinary passion through Cookaburras.
